I never imagined I’d be making wine so close to home. Born and raised in Sussex, in the heart of the South Downs, I grew up close to the (now grubbed up) Chilsdown Vineyard, near Goodwood. Whilst my mother helped to pick the grapes during the harvest season I was sat in my pram at the end of a row. The chalk of the Downs runs through my veins and I feel very privileged to be working in such a beautiful part of the world.

With a career spanning 30 years in the wine business, I am delighted to be able to share my experience with the industry - from winery design, equipment choices, blending, sensory evaluation, winemaking strategy and on-site winemaking advice.
